Lid and base boxes (also called shoulder boxes or telescope boxes) are the most universally recognized luxury packaging format. The base holds the product while the lid lifts off cleanly, creating that iconic “reveal” moment. Aopa produces lid-and-base boxes in any size from ring-box small to large gift hampers, with finishes from matte minimalism to gold-foil opulence.
Construction Quality
Our lid-and-base boxes are built from premium 1.5mm or 2.0mm grayboard, wrapped in your choice of art paper, specialty paper, or fabric. Corners are precision-mitered and reinforced with internal corner protectors for crush resistance. Lid friction is tuned via 0.5–1.5mm shoulder height adjustment for that satisfying “just right” lift.
